Performance Final

For my final performance video I decided to go to the library and play with the idea of asmr and loudness. I did this by setting up my camera in a book shelf to look directly into my face. During the duration of my video the audience watches as I pick books off of the shelf and flip through the pages to build suspense. After flipping through the book to my desired length I threw it behind me on a book shelf which made a loud crash. Since this crash was loud it makes the audience see how books can be a loud object instead of being a quiet one. It makes the audience break the current thoughts about what a book is and what it means. I felt that this performance was a lot better than my first since I was altering a material into a new light instead of making my body the performance.
