Performance art process

For my performance art project I decided to shoot my first fieldwork in glass studio and I decided that I wanted my performance to be of me blowing glass. I shot my video at about 5 minutes long of me blowing up the glass, manipulating it, and heating it up. When I ended the video I blew the glass into a giant bubble then dipped it into the water.

I felt that me blowing glass would have been a good manipulation of a material to show how glass can be manipulated but after talking with my instructor we decided that blowing glass wasn’t really altering a material to make the audience see it in a new light so I had to change my material for my performance.
